Wordless Wednesday: American Indian Museum

Recently, my family and I got a chance to visit two museums within the nineteen Smithsonian Institution, and this particular museum was the American Indian Museum.  While there, we got a chance to see some pretty interesting artifacts, as well as sculptures.  Here are several artifacts my family and I saw while at the American Indian Museum.

Mixed Prints

Target Top (here), Forever 21 Sweater (similar), Old Navy Skinny Jeans (here), Nordstrom Flats (similar), Chanel Handbag, Michael Kors Watch (similar), Jeweliq Necklace (here), and SageK&Co Bracelet (here).

For my outfit of the day, I chose to keep it simple by combining two prints animal & polka dot.  So, I styled my black & cream polka dot top with a pair of black skinny jeans, a black cropped sweater & handbag, a pair of animal print flats, and gold accessories.

Since it's starting to feel more like fall, so will my wardrobe as well.  What changes do you make to your wardrobe when the weather begins to change?

The Nail Files: Red My Lips

I'm a big fan of gel nail polish, and recently I've been getting CND Shellac gel nail polish on my nail, however it doesn't seem to last 2 weeks for me unfortunately :(  So, I decided to give Sally Hansen a try, and I purchased my Pro Gel Polish Kit at Target for about $60 dollars.  Although, I've only had my gel nail polish on for a couple of days now, so far I love it.  I'll definitely keep everyone posted on whether or not it my gel polish holds up :)

Wordless Wednesday: Colonial Williamsburg

My boys were on Fall Break recently, so the three of us got a chance to take a drive down south to visit Colonial Williamsburg, VA for the first time. While there, we really enjoyed ourselves and learned a lot of history. Here are a few of the buildings that we got a chance to visit while stepping back in time in Colonial Williamsburg :)

The Nail Files: The Color Pink

For today's manicure, I decided to visit the nail salon again to get my nails done.  I know lately, I've been rather lazy when it comes to polishing my nails myself, but it's so easy to stop by a nail salon and get them painted.  So for this particular visit, I chose to have my nails painted a pink CND Shellac Nail Gel color.  Don't you just love leaving a nail salon with pretty nails, I know I do.

The Nail Files: Neon Lights

So, I got a chance to have a pedicure recently, and it felt so good to have one done professionally in a salon.  It was really nice :)  Also, when I get a chance to go to a salon I always have a run time picking out my nail polishes.  So, on this particular day, I decided to pick out a bright neon color, the brighter the better. Unfortunately, I didn't get the name of the nail polish to share with you, but I loved how my pedicure came out :)

Here's a photo of my neon pedicure:

Look What I Got: Old Navy Haul

You guys know I'm a big fan of Old Navy, and since I've relocated to Eastern Shore Maryland, I really haven't gotten a chance to go and check the Old Navy here.  So, one day I decided to drop by to check it out, plus I wanted to see if I could find any great deals while there.  Of course I did, I found these cute Graphic Crew Neck Sweaters for $19 a piece, and a Polka Dot Blouse for $15.  SCORE!! Not to bad for just stopping by :)

A Rainy Day

Gap Striped Jacket (no longer available), JC Penney Top (similar), New York & Company Skinny Jeans (here), Nordstroms Rain Boots (here), Target Phillip Lim Tote (no longer available), Michael Kors Watch (similiar), ILY Couture Basilissa Pave Bracelet (here), and SageKandCo Creme Brulee Inspired Chunky Bracelet (here).

So, the weather outside was a little chilly and raining, but I didn't want to miss out on my blog post for the day.  So, what did I do?  I added a pair of black rain boots, an umbrella, and kept on going.  For my outfit today, I thought I'd wear a striped jacket I bought earlier in the spring while visiting my husband.  Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to wear it then, and I've been dying to wear it, so I thought I'd pair my jacket today with a dark skinny jeans, black rain boots, my black Phillip Lim tote, and gold accessories :)

What do you wear when it's raining outside?

oNecklace

I was contacted by oNecklace to do a product review for them, which meant I got a chance to chose a product.  So, I decided on the 24k Gold Plated Curly Initial Necklace, and opted to use the letter C as my initial, since my first name begins with C.  I was so excited when my package arrived, because my necklace was packaged in a really cute box to keep it safe and it looked so pretty.  Overall, I was really pleased with the look, quality, and fit of my necklace, and would definitely recommend oNecklace to my followers, friends and family members.

Here are photos of my necklace:

Disclaimer...My post was sponsored by oNecklace, and I received my necklace as a complimentary gift as well. Also, my review was done by me too :)

The Nail Files: Diane

For today's manicure I got a chance to get my nails done at a salon over the weekend, so I thought I'd share with you my new manicure.  Although, I'm a huge red nail polish fan, I thought I'd try a new gel nail polish.  So, on my nails today is a Cacee GP Gel Polish System nail color called Diane, and I'm really anxious to see how my gel nails hold up.  I'll definitely keep you posted on whether or not they did :)
