Julep In November

My November Julep Maven arrived in the mail and I wanted to share with you my new beauty and nail products.  Every month I receive the Bombshell line unless I choose one of their other beauty lines.  For this particular month it was Stay Warm in November, these straight-off-the-runaway colors will add rich texture to your fall wardrobe.  Here are the beauty and nail polishes included in my Maven Box:

It's getting really cold here in Indiana, and today was a bit of a challenge for me because I decided I would remove my coat and scarf, so I could take photos of my outfit for today.   However, I'm glad I was still able to take a good number of photos in spite of the weather being cold outside.  Also, I'm still getting used to taking my own photos with my tripod and wireless remote:)  Where is a professional photographer when I need one?  HA!!

For outfit today I decided to keep it casual by wearing a flannel plaid shirt I bought recently from H&M, when it gets cold outside I love wearing these shirts because I can layer them with a long or short sleeve shirt underneath them and either pair the shirt with a warm coat and scarf or if I'm brave a vest.  Although today I chose to wear a coat and scarf maybe next time I will pair my shirt with a vest and scarf instead:)  I completed my outfit with a pair of bootcut jeans, blue flannel Toms, and gold and silver accessories.  Enjoy!!

Caramel & Orange

For my outfit today I decided to wear an orange sweater I purchased at a Gap Outlet while in Maryland last week.  When I saw the sweater I absolutely fell in love with its vibrant color and softness, so I knew I had to buy it.  Although, I decided to wait until I returned home to style my sweater because I knew what I wanted to wear with it hadn't been packed during my trip.  I chose a pair of carmel booties from Nine West I bought earlier this past spring because I knew they would look great with my sweater and H&M handbag.  Finally, I completed my outfit my with a pair of bootcut J Brand Jeans, and gold accessories.

I've mentioned in an earlier post that my family and I are relocating to Maryland at the beginning of next year, so my husband and I were house hunting last week, and over the weekend we got a chance to visit DC to do a little shopping for the day.  While we were out, I got a chance to visit Zara for the first time and boy was I excited, it's been on my list of stores I want to visit when we move back east. Although, I didn't spend much time in the store, I did however purchase this peplum shirt that I couldn't wait to get back home and style.  So decided to wear my peplum with a pair of bootcut jeans, black boots, my Burberry bag, and gold accessories.


Also, I finally acquired a tripod from my brother and I purchased a wireless remote for my Canon T3i Camera which I'm so grateful for because until recently I waited around for my husband or oldest son to take my photos.  Now I don't have to wait anymore.  YEAH!!  My pictures are from my first photo shoot that I took today and I think they turned out pretty good if I may say so myself:)  No one needs to know that it took me almost an hour to get my camera focused properly and a good full body shot, but I think I got it.

Gold Overlay

Today is Mani Monday, so I thought that I would show you a photo of my nails.  My base color is copper, which is a gel polish and I have a gold overlay on my ring fingers.  I enjoy getting my manicures because I'm able to switch nail colors and try new designs, I always look forward to my next manicure appointment:)  What color are your nails today?

What's in my Bag?

Today I wanted to do something a little different and talk about what I carry in my bag.  I did a post similar to this not to long ago and enjoyed doing it, so I thought that I would do it again.  The bag that I'm carrying is today is a tote by Gucci and inside my bag I'm carrying a wallet, pair of sunglasses, cell phone, pack of gum, mug sleeve, car keys, a small notebook, bottle of Aleve, and make-up case.  Now I just showed you what I carry in my bag, what do you carry in yours?
