The Nail Files: Red Zin

In the spirit of the holidays, I decided to go with the color red for my nails this week.  So, of course I used a red gel polish called Red Zen from the Sally Hansen Pro Gel Kit.  If you guys are wondering why I continue to use Sally Hansen gel polishes, my gel polish stays on for longer than 3 days :)

The Nail Files: Back to the Fuchsia 2

So, I gave myself a manicure on yesterday, and since I adore gel polish so much I thought I'd repaint my nails in this pretty pink gel polish by Sally Hansen.  It's called Back to the Fuchsia :)  Also, today I picked some other gel colors and I can't wait to show them to you.

Look What I Got! My JCrew Haul

Last week my husband and I got a chance to visit the J Crew Factory Outlet store in Ocean City, and boy did we score big while there.  Although, J Crew was hit pretty hard during the Black Friday sale, they still had a good section of merchandise still available in store.  Anyway, while shopping I picked up two plaid tops, a necklace, and bracelet totaling $85.  SCORE!  Plus, we received an additional 15% off our grand total.  What a great ending to a day!

Wordless Wednesday: Our Trip to The Smithsonian: Natural History Museum

My two boys are huge fans of animals, so much so they both wanted to go back to visit The Smithsonian Natural History Museum.  While there, we get a chance to see various animals from around the world, and other neat exhibits.

Welcome back, everyone!  It feels so good to be back blogging again about my everyday style, so here it is. :) For today, I decided to wear a sheer animal print blouse I purchased earlier in the spring at Francesca's Collections, along with other items of course.  Anyway, today I chose to style my blouse with a pair of black pants & flats, my black Gucci hobo, and gold accessories.

The Nail Files: Red My Lips 2

I'm such a big fan of gel nails, I purchased a Sally Hansen Pro Gel Kit awhile ago.  Also, along with my Pro Gel Kit I also purchased several different colors of gel polish as well.  This particular gel polish I love so much, I decided I would wear it again, it's called Red My Lips, it's the perfect shade of red, especially for the Christmas holidays :)

What's in My Bag?

Today, I wanted to show you what I'm carrying in my bag this week.  I wanted to switch handbags, so I thought I'd carry my black Tory Burch Hobo.  Inside my hobo, I'm carrying a pink purse organizer that holds my yellow Personal Original Filofax, a pencil pouch, my Mochi Things Travel Case full of goodies I use for my Filofax, a MK make-up bag, my Ray-Ban sunglasses, Kleenexes, my keys, a Metropol Filofax I use for my wallet & note pad, and my cellphone.
