It's My Anniversary!

It's so hard to believe today was my 13th wedding anniversary, and my how fast time flies by.  I'm really starting think I'm getting old:)  Although, my husband isn't with me in Indiana, I got a chance to visit him (minus our two boys) over the weekend to celebrate our anniversary instead:)  A few highlights of my trip were: getting a chance to spend quality time with my husband, our great hotel accommodations that included a gorgeous view of the ocean, and my very first trip to Rehoboth Beach:)  

Ruby Ruby

I was in need of a manicure today, so I thought I would go ahead and give myself one:)  So, I began to trim and file my nails.  I chose the color red, and I used SinfulColors Professional Nail Enamel Ruby Ruby and Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear Invisible as my top coat.

Look What I Got: Target Goodies

I found a couple of cute dresses at Target recently, one is stripped, the other has a floral print on it and both were under $20. SCORE!  You know I had to buy them.  Also, while looking at another clearance rack, I spied a white sleeveless peplum and it was only $16, so I bought it too.  Nothing's like a good sale:)

The Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art

During my boys Spring Break, we got a chance to visit some of the attractions in Salisbury and in Baltimore.  On this particular day, we decided to visit The Ward Museum of Waterfowl Art.  The museum had showcased paintings and numerous decoys throughout the museum.  Before we visited, I had no idea this art even existed, so it was definitely a learning experience for me:)

A Shade of Orange

The weather here in Indiana was really nice this morning, so I got a chance to take some really great photos of myself.  Although, it was a little cool outside, I just added a denim jacket to stay warm, however by the afternoon the rain came down.  
Although, my husband and I closed on our home over the weekend, my boys and I will remain here in Indiana until the end of the year.  So, my challenge was to pack enough clothing for three people, but our outfits have to be interchangeable.  Stay tuned, as I style my outfits everyday, this will be very interesting, but I'm up for the challenge.  
For my outfit today, I decided to wear a pair of khaki capris and an orange top for a splash of color. Also, I wanted to wear a print, so I chose a pair of animal print flats to wear.  My denim jacket, Louis Vuitton handbag, and gold accessories completed my look.

Of course one of the nicest things about charm bracelets is that they can be so personalized, but even better than that they can tell a story.  A charm bracelet is something that can grow as you grow and your story gets longer.  Choosing a theme or simply adding new charms at special points in your life, there are so many things to take inspiration from.   Here’s some inspiration from Links of London on how varied and lovely they can be.

It's so hard to believe that this coming fall, my family and I would've been in our home for 8 years and this coming Friday I sign the closing papers on it.  Yes, our home sold, and I've been a busy bee packing, throwing out stuff, cleaning, running numerous errands and anything else that has to do with moving, but it will be over soon:)

For my outfit today, I decided to wear a floral top I purchased from H&M. I chose to pair my top with colored skinny jeans, I added a nude handbag and flats too.  For my accessories, I added a pop of color to my wrist with 2 chain bracelets that I made myself and my Stella & Dot Renegade Bracelet.

Salisbury Zoological Park

My boys were on Spring Break last week and we were blessed that we got a chance to fly out and spend the week with my husband in Maryland.  While there, we got a chance to visit some of the attractions and one of them was the Salisbury Zoological Park.  My boys are huge animal lovers, so I knew that they would want to go and that they would enjoy it the zoo.  While there we got a chance to see some pretty neat animals.
