Totes "R" Us

I don't know if you guys know this or not, but I'm a huge handbag girl, some of us girls like shoes, make-up, jewelry, and/or clothes but for me it's handbags.  I love handbags so much, I'm pretty sure I own well over hundred plus handbags from premier designers to the less expensive ones.  If you follow me on Instagram and Twitter, you can see on my photos that I rarely carry the same handbag 2 days in a row, I normally switch handbags daily, for whatever reason it's hard for me to carry the same bag 2 days in a row.  I know it's strange right?  HA!

However, I said all that to say, I'm officially tired of buying handbags, whether their expensive or a little less expensive, I'm tired of buying them, plus the fact I own so many:)  Since I've learned to sew recently, making handbags and totes have been on my mind lately, I mean how hard can to be?  So I decided to start looking online for easy tote and bag pattern.  After my search online I finally found one by Dana from Made, it was a tutorial called Basic Pocket Tote.   So, I made a trip to Joann's Fabric Store to pick out my fabric and accessories then came home to begin sewing on my new tote, I was even able to finish my tote in a day.  YEAH!
